Our Food is our Medicine

This project focus is bringing Culturally significant food and medicine access into our tribal community and providing market access to our tribal harvesters.

In partnership with First Nations Development Institute, FEED has received a grant under the Native Agriculture, and Food Systems Initiative (NAFSI).

Feed Seven Generations is committed to building tribal food economies and has purchased all seafood products from tribal harvesters.

FEED has collaborated with Leslie LaFountaine-Bill (Chippewa) who is a Master Garden Educator to bring community volunteers together with the Muckleshoot Youth Silviculture Crew to prepare and plant a crop at the Muckleshoot Community Garden.  This allowed FEED to engage the community through the garden volunteer planting and harvest events.
